The charitable purpose of the Celia Newsom Legacy Foundation Fund is to finance Celia vindication and foundational operational activities, including but not limited to:

  • The placement of Celia exhibits and memorials in Callaway County, MO, and Historic Greenwood Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.

  • The development of an age-appropriate Celia history curriculum.

You can give to the Celia Newsom Legacy Foundation a number of ways!

  • Honor / Memorial Gift - Honor a loved one by giving a gift to Lincoln School in the name of a friend or family member.

  • Estate Gift - Lincoln School through your will or living trust.

  • Gifts of Securities - Donating stock of mutual funds to the Celia Newsom Legacy Foundation is a smart and simple way to help support it. By making a gift of appreciated securities, you may be able to make a bigger impact and avoid capital gains tax.

  • Major Gift - Major gifts are for individuals, families, or organizations interested in contributing to fulfilling our long-term vision or major projects.

  • The Celia Newsom Legacy Foundation Fund is a St. Louis Community Foundation component fund and falls under its governing instruments. Therefore, the fund has the characteristics legally required for component fund status and public charity classification in compliance with the Internal Revenue Code for community foundations. (The Community Foundation of the Ozarks is a 501c3 charitable organization.)
